ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital has announced the appointment of Dr. Diana Hussain as Medical Director. Dr. Hussain brings more than 15 years of experience in physical medicine and medical rehabilitation, post-acute care, and healthcare leadership, with a focus on helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and achieve greater independence.

As Medical Director, Dr. Hussain provides clinical leadership for the hospital’s inpatient medical rehabilitation program and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote high-quality, patient-centered care.

A board-certified physiatrist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine, Dr. Hussain has extensive experience in inpatient rehabilitation, interventional pain management, and the treatment of complex neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. She previously served as Medical Director of a CARF-accredited inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Dr. Hussain is the Founder and CEO of Florida Wellness and Regenerative Medicine and serves as President of the Florida Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also holds academic appointments with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Universidad de La Sabana in Bogotá, Colombia, completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
