Eagle Leasing Strengthens Mid-Atlantic Position with Acquisition of Schneider Trailer & Container Rental

The Eagle Leasing Company, a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, today announced the acquisition of Schneider Trailer & Container Rental, headquartered in Newark, Delaware. The transaction strengthens Eagle Leasing’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic and connects the company’s operations in the greater Philadelphia and Baltimore markets.

Founded in 1970, Schneider Trailer & Container Rental has spent more than five decades serving customers throughout Delaware and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic region. The company has built a strong reputation with contractors, schools, hospitals, government agencies, industrial operators, and a wide range of commercial customers, providing storage trailers, storage containers, and office containers backed by responsive local service. The acquisition deepens Eagle Leasing’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic and enhances the platform’s ability to serve customers across the Philadelphia-to-Baltimore corridor.

“Schneider Trailer & Container is exactly the kind of operator we look to partner with – a deeply rooted local business with a 50-plus year track record of taking care of its customers,” said Mike Ferrantino, Chief Strategy Officer at Eagle Leasing. “Adding Schneider strengthens our position in the Mid-Atlantic and connects our Philadelphia and Baltimore operations, giving customers across the region even better service and reach. The fleet, the team, and the customer relationships Sallie Ann and her team have built make this a tremendous addition to the Eagle platform.”

The transaction reflects Eagle Leasing’s disciplined acquisition strategy, focused on strengthening its position in core markets and partnering with high-quality operators who share its commitment to customer service and operational excellence.

“I’ve watched Eagle Leasing build something special on the East Coast, and I’m proud that Schneider is now part of it.” said Sallie Ann Conner, President of Schneider Trailer & Container Rental. “Our customers are going to benefit from a deeper inventory, broader reach, and the same local team they’ve always known. It’s a great next chapter for everyone involved.” Following the transaction, Sallie Ann Conner will remain with Eagle Leasing along with the entire Schneider Trailer & Container Rental team, ensuring a smooth transition for customers while preserving the local expertise and relationships that have been the foundation of the company’s success.

Eagle Leasing is actively seeking additional opportunities to partner with high-quality portable storage operators across the Eastern United States who share its commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
